EVERYONE HAS A RIGHT TO HAVE A  PRESENT  AND  FUTURE  THAT ARE NOT COMPLETELY DOMINATED AND DICTATED BY THE PAST”

Karen Saakvitne

MEET PATRICIA

I have worked for many years helping people deal with issues such as trauma, loss/grief, low mood/depression, anxiety, relationship issues, sexual abuse, work changes and transitions, etc.

I work from a humanistic and integrative perspective and believe each person is the expert on their own lives and that being in a non-judgemental, supportive and therapeutic relationship can help a person find their way forward. I believe that the body is also a huge resource in counselling and I incorporate body-psychotherapy as well as traditional talk therapy particularly in my work with trauma. My Sensory-Motor and Internal Family Systems training further supports me in this work.

IT TAKES COURAGE TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP

Pyschotherapy brings you on a journey within yourself. It provides a safe space to talk, and will help you look at and understand your feelings, your responses and your behaviours supportively and openly.

Counselling / Therapy can help you see your value as well as help you explore ways of living a more fulfilling life.
